Readings along the river is a project carried out by the Italian Federation Invitation to the Reading, as part of book promotion and reading projects in the heart of Rome.
Opened over 30 years ago, Reading along the River takes place throughout the year with recurring appointments dedicated to great classics, writing workshops, educational projects for children, readings in Italian for foreigners, meetings with the protagonists of the supply chain of the book and presentations of the great authors of the past, but also of the new and emerging ones.
Historically known simply as "Invitation to read", the summer event represents one of the most long-lived and loved initiatives of the Roman Summer and it has always been completely self-financed and free. Over the years it has become synonymous with intelligent entertainment in the heart of Rome. A pleasant way to spend the summer in the city.
Sunday 9 July do not miss the Creative Workshop for Children: reading, playing and creating together is the best way to grow. And what could be better than doing it outdoors, in one of the most beautiful places in Rome? The event is realized thanks to the Cultural Association La Molla Magica di Giada Rea, and will start at 10.30 am at the Bibliobar del Lungotevere Castello.
