From 29 September 2016 to 19 February 2017, the Cloister of Bramante in Rome hosts “LOVE. Contemporary art meets love ", edited by Danilo Eccher. The Chiostro del Bramante celebrates its 20 years of activity with an international exhibition.
An absolute and unmissable novelty in the panorama of the Capitoline cultural proposals of the last few years that is a candidate to bring the city of Rome back online at the same levels as the most esteemed international exhibition realities. For the first time, the most important artists of contemporary art will be gathered, such as Yayoi Kusama, Tom Wesselmann, Andy Warhol, Robert Indiana, Gilbert & George, Francesco Vezzoli, Tracey Emin, Marc Quinn, Francesco Clemente, Joana Vasconcelos, with some works with highly experiential languages ("All the Eternal Love I Have for the Pumpkins of Kusama among the most instagrammed in the world"), suitable to involve the public through multiple requests.
Art meets love. The Roman exposition intends to address one of the universally recognized feelings that have always been the cause of investigations and representations, Love, telling about its different facets and its infinite declinations. A happy, expected, misunderstood, hated, ambiguous, transgressive, childlike love that winds along an unconventional exhibition path, characterized by visual and perceptive inputs.
